Cheryl Rogers M.S., LPC-S,LMFT-S,CCPS,EMDR

Cheryl Rogers holds a Masters Degree and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Practicing since 2006 she specializes in trauma for individuals and couples. She is an EMDR therapist/consultant and trainer who trains and assists in training 300 counselors a year throughout Texas. She joined Daring Ventures (Returning to You Retreat) for trauma working with betrayed partners in Jan. 2023 and joined Daring Ventures full time in early 2024.

Cheryl has a strong belief in the power of hope. She believes that as we navigate through life’s journey, it’s crucial to strive for freedom from shame and anything that inhibits us from being our true selves. Betrayal trauma often inflicts deep wounds on individuals causing immense destructiveness. Her passion lies in assisting others through this healing process aiming to break free from negative self-beliefs such as “I’m not enough” or “I’m unlovable or unworthy.”

As a therapist, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery, confronting her own unhealthy patterns and coping mechanisms. Now, her desire is to support others on their journey toward hope and healing. With trauma informed training she is equipped to address betrayal trauma and facilitate healing. Her primary passion lies in helping those with broken hearts to find healing and to discover newfound love for themselves and others.

With specialized training in EMDR and Brain spotting, she possesses the tools to assist individuals on their path to recovery. In addition to individuals with betrayal trauma she also serves law enforcement officers, first responders, veterans, and their spouses. She is licensed in Texas, Florida, Virginia, and Arizona.
