About this speaker
Dr. Laney Knowlton, LMFT-S, CSAT-S, CPTT-S, CCPS, CST, CCRDS-S, CCBRT, RAE, has worked in the mental health field since 2009, specializing in Problematic Sexual Behaviors (PSB) and Betrayal Trauma. She has a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a PhD in Clinical Sexology.
She is the President of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH) and an IITAP faculty member. She has presented at many professional conferences, including the IITAP Symposium, ACA, AAMFT, and SASH, among others.
She created the Connected Recovery™ model of therapy and has authored multiple books focused on recovering from PSB and Betrayal. She owns and runs the Connected Recovery™ Training program, co-owns NorthStar Relational Consulting, and owns Knowlton Counseling in the Dallas, Texas area.
