Matt is the clinical director of Begin Again Institute, a 14-day Trauma Based Intensive for Men seeking recovery from porn and sex addiction. Matt also helped found Boulder Recovery— a Christian men’s intensive that is the sister program of Begin Again. Matt has served more than 1,000 men in that setting since 2019.
Matt began his career in churches and nonprofits before moving into a second career as a licensed counselor. Matt’s expertise is in men’s addiction, trauma, couple’s recovery, and the spiritual aspects of recovery, and speaks on these topics. Matt lives near Boulder Colorado with his wife and son. He enjoys reading, art, spending time with his family, and hiking in his free time.
