Rae Gaelyn Emerson is a veteran life, relationship and divorce recovery coach, with more than a decade of experience working with couples healing from the impact of relational trauma—issues like abandonment, abuse, addiction, betrayal, deception, divorce and infidelity.

Once upon a time, Rae believed that the hardest parts of life were already behind her. (If she only she knew!) As tempting as it was to throw in the towel and let trauma have the last word in her story, Rae began talking back to trauma, both personally and professionally—and the rest, as they say, is history.

Since 2014, Rae has specialized at the intersection between mental health, sexual health and relational health. She’s especially passionate about creating safe spaces for other professionals who work at similar crossroads, including those brave human beings who transform their own trauma into motivation for supporting others.

These days, Rae invests most of her working hours into mentoring, supervision and consultation for other practitioners. She truly believes that together, we can “raise the bar” for ourselves and each other, deepening competence and inspiring confidence within communities of trauma-savvy coaches and therapists.

Rae lives on the outskirts of Minneapolis, where she’s madly in love with her job, her partner and two very spoiled cats.
