About this Talk
Rebuilding trust and safety after infidelity is a challenging but possible journey. Ultimately, rebuilding trust and safety after infidelity is a process that requires commitment, effort, and understanding from both partners. It's important to be realistic about the challenges ahead and to approach the situation with a willingness to grow together.
This topic will focus on educating on the disclosure process; understanding how grief work is vital when overcoming betrayal in the marriage/partnership; understanding how a family of origin is a component of healing for both partners; discussion on moral compass and character & committed work by the betrayer is an integral focus for partners to be able to observe and feel an internal shift by their spouse; learning emotional regulation skills for the partner is also an important component as well.
Trauma approaches & techniques will be discussed as well.
